About VenTek

VenTek Transit Inc., based in Petaluma, California, is a manufacturer of Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), Ticket Office Machines (TOMs), Central Controller software and provides associated engineering and technical support and services. Founded in 1958 in Novato, California, VenTek has designed, manufactured, installed and supported over 10,000 Ticket Vending Machines for the North American parking and transit industries. VenTek’s first transit TVM installation was in 1996 at the West Coast Express commuter rail line in Vancouver, British Columbia and included credit, debit and a smart card payment and recharging system.

Our most recent transit customers include San Diego Trolley with 73 TVMs installed starting in 1997, Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) in Santa Clara, California with 156 TVMs installed starting in 1998 and the Joint Powers Board (JPB) in San Francisco, California with 113 TVMs and 4 TOMs installed starting in 1999. VenTek Transit Inc. was incorporated in California on August 26^th, 2004 and purchased all assets of VenTek International, Inc. to provide continued support for our transit customers’ fare collection systems. We will continue to occupy the facility at 975 Transport Way in Petaluma, California and have retained the services of our key software and electronics design and development engineers as well as our service technicians. We have positioned our new company to provide our customers with seamless support services and sustained engineering for their fare collection systems. In addition, we have retained the manufacturing infrastructure to ensure a source of compatible ticket vending machines for future expansion and new opportunities. We look forward to new opportunities and continuing our business relationships that we have created and maintained over the years.
